It seems it should be without saying that "Ruler of the world" does not do the bidding of another. The identification is "clear" and thus the opposite must be assumed.
When it comes to the nation of Israel, the speculation by many is that they are calling the shots. Recall however that the people of Israel were the world's first pin cushion. A number of articles that have not been presented in addition to what has been presented support this claim.

Seemingly, interim may be honored according to the prophecy as it is said he will "divide the land for gain." Divide may or may not suggest delegation. Gain could be a MVGA influence in the region. Is he really concerned for our say in our governance? A flood is being spewed out to capture the woman. If making governments great again is what is required to appeal to her, ... This again ties multiple angles together in John's writing. (Rev 12:15, Rev 13:3) His goal is to take as many with him is he is able because "WWG1WGA."

Note, Daniel 11:40 & 44 identify kings from the north, south, and east in opposition to him making no mention of the king of the "west" as he is the central figure.
This '2nd' term certainly seems in stark contrast to his 1st?

Also again, I am learning as I observe. I came to generally understand the foundational timeline many years ago but in doing this, I learned so much more. I didn't put this site together knowing it would result in such clarity! It appears we will be reading verse by verse through Daniel as we go through this. We are approaching the "At the time of the end..." part in Dan 11:40, but it may or may not be for a "time" or so. Until then, if I understand correctly, we will be getting tossed around like this before the waves get really rough.

What is not found in the prophecies is the threat of a one world government. What is described in the prophecies is what we have seen and are seeing now. He will cause many to worship the god of fortresses. Through the idolizing of fortress, the land will be divided for gain suggesting the dividing and the gaining will receive support. This verse was noted on the morning of February 26, 2026. While it was obvious then that the aggression was on the verge, it was also apparent from previous tactics that it would fizzle out. Thus, we have had wars and rumors of war descriptively used in the recent dealings. But the end is not yet... We still have a couple times or so to go...
Note, through referencing this verse and its context, another interesting consideration within the context was made and appended to here.

As we try and recognize the predictions that remain to unfold, I reflect on how difficult it would have surely been during the ancient Grecian conquests to isolate and identify the relevant events in real time for even those that may have been looking for them. I do not foresee in the least, hundreds of years from now, young students reading of distant history and relevant religions and how they affected their existence. Historians were able to correlate history with Daniels prophecy to the the level that the only skeptical explanation is blatant fraud. That is of course a viable accusation, but one that doesn't take all observations into consideration. Those observations are of course the life and impact of Jesus Christ and the events we are now living through as being presented by the one man meeting the descriptions given by those prophecies whose name uncoincidentally is 'Ruler of the world' + 'Outranking all others.' However, concerning the events that remain to take place, we wish to recognize them and heed their warnings before the end of these times. Do not help the earth consume the flood!.

The campaign was to end wars and cease seeking regime change, as has been called out by others.
Attacks have been initiated against adversaries while negotiating peace.

The leader is acknowledged in public. Perhaps the perception is that the leader is being manipulated? And perhaps the perception is malformed? Or perhaps the relationship, in its entirety is fully comprehended?

His attacks are setting up opportunity for retaliation, whenever that may come. Not everyone, if any, knows who they are really dealing with...
What can be said of the those trying to speak logic, or the lack of, into his actions without knowing who they are really speaking of? His agenda is not as should be expected as this king is differently minded with different vision.

To ground the thoughts at this point in time: An individual that meets every description given in Daniel 8:9, Daniel 11:39 and Daniel 7:8 <and Revelation 13> has bragged about building a tower in Gaza as described by Daniel 11:45. The parts in the middle are being filled in. Aside from him, ten other prominent kings have been described and three of those must be uprooted for him. I Identification has only been speculated to this point, but uprooting is occurring as is dividing land for gain.

Looking for precise alignment, the king of the south, the king of the north, and the king of the north and the east are to be identified. Given the current partnership in this act of aggression, the waters are muddied for identification. But "many countries shall be overthrown" according to Daniel 11:41. The ramifications of what is happening now have the potential to affect the world as a whole in drastic ways some fear.

Yes, much must happen in seemingly a very short time. But this short time seems dictated by the referenced passages which are up for interpretations. But the angst also seems to be shared by him.

On Good Friday and "Easter" Sunday of 2026, he addressed the nation with two thoughtful message acknowledging Christ. But to point out one nitpicky detail: he omits the word "begotten" when referencing Him as the "Son of God." One remaining nitpicky detail is that he acknowledges Christ in profound presidential context but ultimately does so as a subset of MAGA which is very prevalently referenced on and between these two addresses.

Keep in mind once again (I feel the need to keep reinforcing this point) that these words were said by he who fits every description given by the prophets. And also recall that he has acknowledged heaven in the past and admittingly doubted his ability to see it despite being able to give these remarks.

Notice the first words that we are told of concerning the evil one which also acknowledge:
Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:4-5 He acknowledges and subtly confuses the guidance she was given in deception.

A few more words he said on "Easter":
"Tuesday, 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time!"
"... Open the ... Strait, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in Hell ... Praise be to Allah."
(He does not praise Allah except through mockery. By definition, he decapitates the Islam/Muslim religion and acknowledges Hell as a destination.)

Then on "Tuesday":
"A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don't want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, ..."
As this is being typed, it remains to be seen as 8:00 P.M. ET is still a number of hours away.

It has been made quite clear that we in the U.S and those around the world are living in and amongst the nation that everyone thought was dead while it is very much alive.

The ruler of Venezuela has been taken and the ruler of Iran taken out. MAGA, MVGA, MIGA... 1, 2, 3... Maybe more.

I prefer to leave pointed statements open ended as at this point, I feel no need to appear prophetic or even right. I am analyzing and not prophesying.
If the U.S. captures a stronghold in or around Iran either through concession today, annihilation tonight, or something in between, the boundaries will have been set for a future retaliation from the king of the south, whether that be some remnant of Iran, Yemen, or some other force or power. We have only seen reactionary attack in response to his aggression. After this dust settles, offensive attack will occur? Turkey is in the north among other nations. Devastation is likely around the corner and crazy things happen in devastating times.

Tucker Carlson recently requestioned why he would not place his hand on the bible while being sworn in:
"That suggests not that you don't believe it's real, because if you didn't believe it's real, why would you care? ... That suggests you know it is real and you're rejecting it!"

Why stop now when more is to be done?

I don't say this to preach behavior into any victim who has suffered pains that I may not be able to even imagine. I do say it for the consideration. And I say it because it is what Paul said we should be looking for - that cry and push for peace and safety - at all costs. And I say it because the one who brings this peace and safety portrays every definition given by both Daniel and John. And this fact alone should compel us to consider from whom and from where we have looked to for peace and safety throughout our past. This obviously will lead to more questions. What does it mean to worship the beast? Daniel tells us exactly what these beasts represent. Why have our spiritual leaders then instead chosen to befriend our beasts rather than lead us into caution and recognition? Why do we seem more concerned about gas prices than 170 school girls that have been put in an early grave for our peace and safety?

More explanation on what is being looked for and why:
From Daniel 11:35-36, "at the appointed time." the king shall do according to his will. This king is obscure and unique, within this dialogue with Daniel, as the reference to this king does not specify the rule that this king possesses. (I have suggested the west before, but perhaps it is more correct to look to his name for this.) Through verse 39, Daniel provides a character description of this king, and afterwards, events and interactions involving the kings of the south and the north as well from the perspective of this obscure king. Untangling the pronoun references found in multiple parts of Daniel can be difficult and our modern bibles can, in opinion, be misleading in these efforts. I do not claim to be a linguist, but I am very willing to follow logic. I have found multiple occasions in which the logic provided by the text does not support the translation we have been given. The New International Version, NIV, butchers, in opinion, the seventy-sevens text by adopting strong and modern theological bias in resolving the dangling pronouns that are otherwise still found in the word-for-word translations. Even Thomas Nelson admits that the translation of Seventy-weeks as opposed to Seventy-sevens is erroneous. These translations are not infallible, and in Daniel 11:40, we encounter the phrase "and he shall enter the countries." The NKJV, with surely other commentaries being like-mannered, asserts to us that this conquest is from the king of the north presumably because the king of the north was previously brought back into conversation in the same sentence immediately before the phrase in question. However, in opinion, this is not the most logical resolution as it either omits the introduction of the obscure king, who has been the central focus to this point in the text, or it presumptuously assumes the obscure king highlighted in the introduction of this text was the king of the north all along. It does however prove to be quite presumptuous to assert the obscure king to be the king of the north in these current times now that 'Ruler of the world' 'Outranking all others' reigns before us and knowing that his rule is not, at least not in limitation, over the north. Through heritage, perhaps he is associated with the north. But he is not a direct king over a northern territory relative to the Holy Land and/or current events, and thus, I am looking for the interaction between three distinct kings: the obscure king which is the little horn; the southern king which will attack the obscure king; and, also, the northern king which will come against the obscure king as described in verse 40.

And while these north-south relationships are being presented and identified, as has been said before, it is still feasibly a little early to expect them. But all suspicions are being raised regardless of likelihood.
